My teeth hurt :(?

ok, so i havent been to the dentist, in well, many years....but i am now under no dental plan so to scarily expensive (tried to get in before that, but couldnt)

anyways...im 19, my teeth always hurt, or feel like a throbbing sensation when i eat sweets, drink cold things or even brush my teeth, ...i brush often but im wondering if this is just sensitive teeth or something serious??

its probably something expensively serious isnt it

My teeth hurt :(?
You could try going to one of the dental hygiene schools that are popping up everywhere. For a small fee, usually about $25, you get your teeth cleaned, and a dentist will be checking you and telling you if you have other problems. Because you say that it is just sweets and cold that bother you, that is actually a good thing. If you have pain with hot, that means more serious problems. You could have some cavities or just need cleaning. Check it out; you may be pleasantly surprised.
Reply:No way to tell. Go to the dentist.
Reply:No, its probably just a bad cavatiy that is irritating you!
Reply:Sometimes if you look in the phone book you can find a dentist who gives free initial visits, or free first time x-rays. Try that. In the mean time go to the pharmacy and get the Pharmacist to recommend a Sensitive toothpaste. I had both of my wisdom teeth coming in over Thanksgiving, and the Dentist recommended Extra strength Ambesol. That worked for a few minutes but not for long since my tooth was cracked. But while there I saw a paste that you put on your teeth for sensitive teeth, and it was prescription strength, and it said it protected for a month. That should hold you long enough to save some money and go to the dentist. Good Luck
Reply:You do need to see a dentist sounds like you have a cavity. You may also want switch to sensitivity toothpaste especially if your using tartar control or whitening toothpaste.
