its really strange but when i eat chocolate my back teeth really hurt, but any other food i eat sweet or not its fine it just seems to be chocolate can anyone help???
My teeth hurt :-(?
Whenever I have that problem... its usually a tiny cavity.
Better fix it now before it gets bigger...
So my advice to you would be to make an appointment with your dentist for a checkup.
Reply:don't let the chocolate touch those teeth. See a dentist
Reply:i get this too, but only with mars bars
Reply:AWW poor you,
I don't know what's wrong there
how many bars have you eaten, and did you put them in the freezer?
;-)
Reply:Have u remembered to take the foil off it first? lol
p.s. this is common...try a sensitive toothpaste.
Reply:dentist would probably give you the best advise so I advise seeing yours.
Reply:samething happens to me when i eat chocolate, and i think the solution is that u don't chocolate see a dentist or brush ur teeth right after eating chocolate.
Reply:well if it helps.. i get it too (sometimes).. a better way to deal with it is to c a speacilist.. a family dentist, perhaps. i hope you can continew eating chocolate! :) its what i crave for..
Reply:I don't know why people insist of giving sarcastic comments when people are asking ligitmate questions. and we know you people aren't doctors but we want opinions before contacting our doctor. is that so wrong?
so to answer your question...in my opinion (and i emphasize "in my opinion") maybe you have a sensitivity to sweets and chocolate just happens to be the only thing that bothers it. Try sensodyne toothpaste for a few days. and give it a few days before calling your doc. i bet it just goes away on its own. Good luck.
Reply:my girlfriend also has the same problem with any chewy high-sugar content sweets. i think although it's possible to have problems with painful teeth,it's quite common for people to feel pain from acidy sweets and hot drinks through the edges of their gums-which in turn hurts the teeth-see a sensodyne advert. in your case it could be that you need a filling - if the chocolate gets stuck inside the mid-part where you bite? -if so see your dentist sooner than later. general rule is if it hurts your actual teeth not your gums you prob need a filling. it'll hurt a little to get it filled- leave it longer and it'd hurt more but see to it quick and it'll hardly hurt at all to get it drilled. if it doesn't hurt but needs a drilling, it might not hurt at all to drill it. if it's your gums that are hurting you won't need drilling, just special toothpaste. i got my bad tooth tooth drilled quick without waiting around and it hurt less than the injection! that's good
Reply:Go and consult a dentist. Quick !!!
Reply:Sorry to bring bad news, but any time that's happened to me in the past it's because I've got a cavity........
Reply:well you could maybe just ask your dentist and they would probaly know but untill then,
i think you mite have back sensitive teeth wich is were your back teeth are sensitive lol and with chocolate being hard that would make it hurt more.
so just take it easy with the hard food untill you get a deffanat answer from your dentist
good look and hope every thing goes ok :)
