Front teeth hurt!!can't bite anything!!help!!?

i have had braces for almost a month now. i have more or less gotten used to them, but recently ive been having some trouble biting into food with my front teeth. and today one of my top front teeth REALLY hurt when ANY pressure is applied to it.

i know my teeth are moving, but i dont feel like this tooth needs to be moved, especially as much as other my other teeth.

Having braces can cause your teeth to hurt because they are being moved in a direction they would not normally move in. The whole experience can be pretty uncomfortable at times and you might even notice that some of your teeth feel a little loose. The orthodontist knows what he is doing and everything you are going through is part of the process of straightening out your teeth. Just because YOU might not think a certain tooth should be moved doesn't mean that it shouldn't. It also doesn't mean the orthodontist won't put it back after he has moved it out of the way for another tooth to shift slightly. Whatever the reason, the man knows what he is doing after 12 years of college so take a couple of Advil, don't put any pressure on the tooth that is bothering you right now, and try not to think about it. It is not a permanent situation and you will live through it...and have straight teeth when it's all over.
Reply:go to your dentist your tooth probably cracked!
Reply:Go see your orthodontist,,,the braces may just need an adjustment or you might have some tiny bit of food stuck and it's caused an irritation which can lead to an infection which you don't want to get!! Have it checked...if it hurts, there's something going on...♥
