Can salt make your teeth hurt?

I have been eating salty peanuts the past few days and I have noticed that my teeth are hurting very badly. I'm wondering if salt can do that?

Can salt make your teeth hurt?
Salt doesn't hurt the teeth it just makes the gums sore around teeth
Reply:It shoulden't hurt you. Maybe you should ask a dentist on this question.
Reply:it's not he salt that 's causing the pain...it's chewing the peanuts.salt is very good for ur teeth.it makes them stronger because of it's mineral contents.long long ago ... when the toothpaste is not yet invented, salt and other herbal plants were use for cleaning thier teeth and they have stronger pearly whites than us in this generation
Reply:No. Some people have even been known to brush their teeth with salt.
