Front teeth hurt when bite metallic substance?

Howcome when I bite a metallic object or even just making contact with it with my front teeth, it gives me a really annoying feeling that makes me cringe? I can't understand the feeling, I guess in a way its painful around the teeth/gums, it's also similar to a cold feeling like as if I were biting ice. Examples would be if i where to use my front teeth to make contact with aluminum foil or maybe a coin.

o i know... dont bite metallic substance.
Reply:Do you have metals inside your fillings or crowns? If yes, you produce a battery by biting another metal, and current will flow. This hurts. Recommendation: substitute the metal by ceramics.
Reply:Simple.. u have sensitive teeth!!
Reply:you must change your metal fillings if they exist if not try Colgate sensitive paste for a month.
